Weekly Newsletter
November 2, 2007
The Weekly Newsletter is our Middle and Upper School newsletter for parents of the students. This Newsletter comes out each week with the news of the past week as well as future events and items of interest for the parents.
"The reality of absolute administration is stability in its silent, dynamic
structure. It is silent, it is dynamic; it is unity, it is diversity; it is
connectedness and at the same time it is disconnectedness; it is unifying at the same time it is diversifying. Holding together opposite values is the
nature of absolute." Maharishi

After a brief meeting in the Henry Ogden Clark Auditorium (where we cover
some general points that apply to this level of the School) parents go from
classroom to classroom, following the students' schedule. The meeting begins at 7:45 p.m.
Grade cards will be given out at this meeting. Please note that grade cards
will not be mailed out this quarter, so please come and pick up your child's grade card at this meeting.
PARENTS ASSOCIATION
There will be a meeting next Thursday, November 8 at 12:00 noon for parents
who are interested in helping with the Faculty/Staff Holiday Luncheon. The
meeting will be held in the Maharishi School Parlor. As this is a lunchtime
meeting, you might want to bring lunch.
If you have any questions, please call Maricella Stakland at 472-7622. This
meeting will replace the November Parents Association evening meeting. Your
participation is very welcome as we prepare for this important annual event.

UPPER SCHOOL BOYS CAMPING TRIP
TO YELLOW RIVER STATE FOREST
Girls from Maharishi School raised over $560 in this year's Trick-or Treat
for UNICEF drive. This is enough money to purchase 224 water filters, 1120
Polio Vaccines, 560 Measles Vaccines or 1555 Packets of Nutritional
Supplements. Congratulations to all of the girls who participated and to the
Girls Student Council for organizing this event.
WATER BOTTLES FOR STUDENTS
Bottled water is no longer being sold in the School Offices. Students may
carry a refillable bottle or reusable plastic cup. Plastic cups are
available for sale in the Girls School Office for $.50. Each office has a
tap with filtered water from which students may refill their bottles and
cups. The fountains throughout the School also dispense filtered water.
Please remind your children to take their water bottles home regularly for
cleaning.
Best Wishes,
